Job Description
As Shutdown Supervisor, you will be responsible for organising and planning the PPM shutdown periods for containment buildings, ensuring all compliance maintenance tasks are executed in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
You will work closely with the client to schedule maintenance periods, develop detailed shutdown plans, and oversee the completion of PPM, reactive, remedial, and project works.
A key part of your role will be liaising with contractors to confirm task requirements, ensuring contractor availability, processing quotes for purchase orders, and reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
You will also be responsible for obtaining and compiling assurance reports to meet health and safety audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage shutdown teams and technicians in line with ISS policies.
Ensure full statutory and operational compliance with contract KPIs and QHSE policies.
Plan and oversee biannual maintenance for 20 high-containment facilities.
Chair stakeholder and client meetings throughout the shutdown process.
Conduct quality assurance on reports and documentation for compliance.
Collaborate with project teams to align shutdowns with overall timelines.
Develop knowledge of M&E plant operations within containment buildings.
Support FM team through active participation in performance management.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience in managing and controlling shutdowns.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and chair update meetings.
Proficient in Microsoft programs.
18th Edition and C&G/NVQ in Electrical Installations.
Any additional trade certifications are a plus.
