We are seeking an experienced M&E Asset Surveyor to support the mobilisation and delivery of a newly secured TFM government contract going live in October 2025.
Job Description
This is a contractor role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial sites.
You will be responsible for conducting Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) surveys, inspections, and condition assessments across multiple sites, identifying and reporting on asset condition, compliance, and lifecycle requirements.
Your role will involve providing technical expertise to ensure all statutory and contractual obligations are met while supporting planned maintenance strategies and capital investment planning.
Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Head of Asset and Data Management by being the expert in the assigned geographical
region, having attained in depth knowledge of the premises and assets.
• Take ownership of the assigned geographical region and the assets within.
• Have an excellent knowledge of the statutory compliance requirements delegated to ISS to manage and
deliver relative to assets.
• Understand lease agreements and tenant / landlord responsibilities relative to asset maintenance,
replacement and repair.
• Ensure ISS and our customer’s asset management protocols and systems are complied with.
• Ensure asset management standards are implemented and maintained throughout.
• Build an effective relationship with the maintenance providers both internal and external suppliers
• Work to the principles of ISO 55001 and support the future objective to attain the accreditation for the customer
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience as an M&E Surveyor within the FM or building services sector
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, regulations, and compliance standards
Experience working on government or public sector contracts (desirable)
Ability to produce detailed reports and recommendations.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND, degree, or equivalent in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering)
Flexibility to travel between sites as required
