Responsibilities
- The candidate will be required to make traditional hand-tied bouquets on a daily basis
- Ability to make beautiful funeral arrangements (casket sprays, oasis work, wreaths)
- Responsible for designing, creating and arranging floral decorations for weddings (buttonholes, bridal bouquets, bridesmaids, table centrepieces, pedestals, etc)
- Assist customers in selecting the right flowers for their needs
- Take orders over the phone and in person, to process payments
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues
- Keep the flower shop clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years as a florist
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral design techniques
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and understand their preferences
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in English is required
