Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for floral design and a strong ability to communicate with customers to understand their needs. This role requires someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions including weddings, funerals, and corporate events.
Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that best suit their needs.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, ensuring all materials are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ordering as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
Provide excellent customer service by effectively communicating with clients and offering expert advice on floral care.
Sell additional products such as vases, cards, and gifts that complement floral arrangements.
Stay updated on current trends in floral design and gardening to offer fresh ideas to customers.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
A passion for gardening and knowledge of different flower types and their care requirements.
Ability to work well under pressure during peak times while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.
