Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Rate: Up to £40 per hour

What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will perform detailed assessments of children with diverse needs, create and implement personalized treatment plans, and offer therapeutic interventions to support developmental progress and independence. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to provide comprehensive care, while also providing guidance and support to children and their families. Managing a varied caseload and prioritizing effectively will be essential, as will participating in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and case reviews. You will keep abreast of the latest practices and advancements in paediatric occupational therapy and maintain thorough and timely records in line with professional standards.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To excel in this role, you will need a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy, along with registration with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC). Your experience in paediatric occupational therapy will be crucial, as will your strong assessment and treatment planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential, and you must be capable of working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team (MDT). Additionally, you will need a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle, as well as a willingness to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check.
