Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for floral design and the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet our customers' needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a flair for selling floral products. A background in gardening or horticulture is advantageous.

Duties

Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events.
Maintain the shop's inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and offering expert advice on floral care.
Sell floral products and related items while promoting special offers and seasonal arrangements.
Organise deliveries of flowers and arrangements to clients as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the shop to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills in English.
A keen interest in gardening or horticulture is beneficial.
Ability to sell products effectively while providing excellent customer service.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail in floral design.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£20.81 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
