Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for floral design and the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet our customers' needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a flair for selling floral products. A background in gardening or horticulture is advantageous.
Duties
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Maintain the shop's inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and offering expert advice on floral care.
- Sell floral products and related items while promoting special offers and seasonal arrangements.
- Organise deliveries of flowers and arrangements to clients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the shop to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Florist or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- A keen interest in gardening or horticulture is beneficial.
- Ability to sell products effectively while providing excellent customer service.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail in floral design.

Pay: £11.44-£20.81 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
