Job Description
We looking for a live in caregiver to support a couple we have be providing hourly care for for a couple of years. The live in quite a large house in a pretty village close to Brackley in Northamptonshire. Both are in their 90’s. He has alzheimer’s and requires prompts but little physical assistance. He has a tendency to wander and so needs supervision. His speech can also be repetitive and he can find it hard to find the right words. She has no cognitive issues but struggles to support him. She also needs some help to look after the house, prepare meals etc.
You will need to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people in particular for someone with dementia. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
Additional Information
As a Live In Care CAREGiver, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
