Job Summary
TLP Recruitment are seeking two dedicated and skilled Yard Operative's with a Counterbalance Forklift. The ideal candidates will play a crucial roles in maintaining the efficiency of yard operations, ensuring that materials are handled safely and effectively. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload and transport materials.
- Maintain an organised, tidy and safe yard environment.
- Work as part of a team to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Carry out routine checks and maintenance.
Skills
- A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential. (This must be ALLMI or ITSSAR accredited).
- Previous experience in a similar yard or warehouse role.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices
- A team player with good communication skills and proactive attitude
What's on offer...
- Monday to Friday 0700-1630.
- Temp to perm position.
- Start dates are 16th December & 2nd January.
- Salary will be between £28-£30k dependent on experience after 13 weeks.
