Job Description
As a Building Services Engineer (Mobile), you will be responsible for delivering electrical and building services engineering maintenance across client properties.
Your role will include electrical bias fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation on-site.
The emphasis is on providing a world-class building services maintenance service, ensuring operational excellence and a high standard of technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Complete PPMs and reactive maintenance across the Westfield contract
Support other engineers with tasks and jobs from the client
Primarily based in Shepherds Bush, with paid travel to other buildings if required
Carry out scheduled PPM tasks on electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, lighting, power distribution, pumps, control systems)
Diagnose and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
Maintain full knowledge of work areas and follow schedules as required
Complete maintenance and repair records, reviewing assigned work orders
Estimate time and materials needed, ordering necessary supplies
Inspect, test, and maintain electrical assets, including wiring, lighting, and distribution boards
Service and maintain mechanical systems, including boilers, chillers, and air-handling units
Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company procedures, and health & safety regulations
Maintain accurate compliance documentation and update records
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Experience working across multiple FM sites
Ability to work independently or in small teams on tasks
Proven experience completing PPM and reactive maintenance works
Primarily electrical background: 19th Edition, NVQ or C&G Electrical Installations
Mechanical qualifications also considered: NVQ or C&G Mechanical Engineering, C&G Heating & Ventilation
Additional certifications preferred: IOSH, IPAF, or PASMA
