The Safety Office Team provides health and safety advice and support to University Management structure, Staff and Students across all sites at City St George’s, University London. Support is provided through Safety Office Team supported by the administrative support.
Working in the Safety Office Team you will be supporting the team and the Head of Occupational Health and Safety in carrying out all administration tasks within the department. The Health and Safety Administrator is responsible for the provision of administration of compliance data and monitoring within the Safety Office.
Educated to A level or equivalent or equivalent office administration experience, or a degree level qualification. Experience of website and database management and maintenance. Experience of working on own initiative with minimum supervision, but also to work cooperatively collaboratively and supportively within a team.
Relevant experience in data entry i.e. for statistical analysis. Reviewing complex information, presenting the data relating to the potentially diverse needs of both an individual and committees. Advanced MS Office applications skills (Word, Excel, Power Point) A flexible approach to work and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
