The purpose of the Direct Sales Consultant role is to drive sales of Bupa Global’s Private Medical Insurance plans from inbound calls into the direct sales team. This role will focus on solving complex queries and ensure first rate communication to the brokers or customers throughout the sales and issue resolution process.
How you’ll help us make health happen:
- Take inbound calls from our members in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure each customer has a great experience whether it’s the first call of the day or the last
- Introducing our tailored products and services to suit the needs of our customers
- Accurately maintain our customer database, ensuring all conversations are documented and actions are recorded
- Ensure product and service knowledge is always current and up to date to correctly educate intermediaries and consultatively sell products.
- Use sales and negotiation skills to correctly assess the members’ needs
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Sales background, or relevant transferable skills and knowledge
- Experience of legal and regulatory frameworks
- Experience in negotiating and managing high value contracts
- The ability to influence and explain complex information in a simple manner
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to speak a second European language would be beneficial
