Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled ADR Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of commercial driving. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring excellent communication with both clients and team members.
Duties
- Operate the van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
- Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, demonstrating mechanical knowledge as needed.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the van, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid ADR and driving licence with relevant endorsements.
- Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- A good understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for vehicle operation.
