Job Summary
We are seeking a Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for design and an eye for detail, enabling them to create beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions. As a Florist, you will be responsible for selecting and arranging flowers, plants, and other materials to meet customer needs and website orders while providing excellent service.
Duties
- Create stunning floral arrangements for weddings, events, and everyday occasions.
- Select fresh flowers and plants from our stock.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the shop, including the display areas.
- Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage sundry levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain the current friendly and collaborate workplace
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years Previous experience as a Florist or in a similar role is essential.
- full driving licence is essential for deliveries using small company van
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure during peak times while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods
