Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a love for flowers, enabling them to create beautiful arrangements that meet our customers' needs. As a Florist, you will be responsible for crafting floral designs for various occasions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the shop.
Duties
- Create stunning floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
- Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their preferences and budgets.
- Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide recommendations.
- Organise the shop layout to enhance visual appeal and accessibility.
- Handle sales transactions accurately while providing exceptional service.
- Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to continually improve skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years previous experience in all aspects of Floristry.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and understand their needs.
- Ability to work creatively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques in floral design.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
