Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and a love for flowers, enabling them to create beautiful arrangements that meet our customers' needs. As a Florist, you will be responsible for crafting floral designs for various occasions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall aesthetic of the shop.

Duties

Create stunning floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that suit their preferences and budgets.
Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their requirements and provide recommendations.
Organise the shop layout to enhance visual appeal and accessibility.
Handle sales transactions accurately while providing exceptional service.
Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to continually improve skills.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the shop.

Qualifications

At least 3 years previous experience in all aspects of Floristry.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and understand their needs.
Ability to work creatively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques in floral design.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
