About Us:

We also have a busy coffee shop within the garden centre, creating a welcoming and vibrant environment for our customers. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and high-quality floral designs for all occasions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and skilled florist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create beautiful, bespoke floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events.
- Provide expert advice to customers on plant and flower care, as well as floral design options.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation in the flower shop, ensuring displays are fresh and appealing.
- Manage daily flower stock, ensuring flowers are ordered, displayed, and stored appropriately.
- Assist with customer orders, taking orders over the phone, online, or in-person, and ensuring timely delivery or collection.
- Keep up to date with floral trends, new products, and seasonal flowers.
- Support the wider team with shop duties, including stock replenishment and maintaining cleanliness.
- Help manage floral arrangements for in-store displays and special promotions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Fully trained and experienced florist with a proven ability to create a range of floral arrangements.
- Excellent customer service skills with a passion for delivering a personal touch for every order.
- Strong knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral trends.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders efficiently, especially during peak periods.
- A creative, detail-oriented approach to floral design and presentation.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Previous experience in a retail florist shop or similar environment is essential.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a willingness to help in all areas of the business as needed.
