Overview
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will play a vital role in designing and arranging beautiful floral displays for various occasions. Your artistic flair, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with customers will ensure that each arrangement meets their needs and exceeds their expectations. A strong understanding of garden plants and flowers will be essential in this role.
Duties
- Create stunning floral arrangements for events, weddings, and everyday occasions.
- Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
- Communicate with customers to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on floral choices.
- Sell floral products and related items while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality at all times.
- Assist in the upkeep of the shop, including cleaning and restocking as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new floral designs and promotional displays.
- Engage with customers in both English and Spanish or other languages as needed to enhance customer experience.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Florist or in a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues, fostering a positive working environment.
- A passion for gardening and knowledge of various flowers and plants is highly desirable.
- Multilingual abilities are an advantage, especially in Spanish, to cater to a diverse clientele.

Pay: £11.45 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
