Meddbase Product Owner – Bupa Clinics
Hybrid
Permanent - full time, 37.5 hours per week

Role Overview
As the Meddbase Product Owner, you will lead the development of the system across all the Bupa Health Clinic service lines. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of features that meet our customers’ and clinicians needs.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our systems meet the needs of our clinicians and enhances the overall patient experience, ensuring that the product meets compliance and regulatory standards.
You shall also monitor and analyse product performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product vision and strategy - define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Meddbase, aligning with the BHC’s overall goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap, communicating timelines and milestones to stakeholders.
- Support the creation and execution of journey optimisations, including the process of insight, idea, user research, customer journey maps, develop wireframes & designs, copywriting, user testing, build & delivery.
- Create, prioritise and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the needs of stakeholders and customers.
- Work closely with stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, and development teams, to gather requirements and feedback, whilst driving our transformation agenda.
- Write clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications for new features and enhancements.
- Participate in sprint planning meetings, ensuring that the development team understands the requirements and priorities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation and move confidently to bring those ideas into reality.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback, using data to drive continuous improvement (reducing cost and complexity).
- Documenting progress, key wins, risks, and issues, pushing forward to senior management where support is required.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience as a Digital Product Owner or similar role in a healthcare setting, with strong knowledge of Meddbase, or similar clinic management systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of Agile Methodologies, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), technical documentation, API Integration, data analysis and UX/UI Principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience and ability to influence decisions at all levels, up to director level, is essential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a positive persuasive manner, capable of bringing others along with you.
- Experience of working with developers to build high quality products in an agile environment.
- Experience of planning, gaining buy-in and rolling out software releases internally or externally.
