Job Title: Social Work

Rate: £35 per hour
The Bradford Metropolitan District Council is looking for a Social Worker to join their Safeguarding team, offering a pay rate of £35 per hour.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will undertake social work practice with a non-judgemental approach, upholding social work values and safeguarding people’s rights according to legal frameworks like the Care Act 2014, the Human Rights Act 1998, the Mental Capacity Act 2005, and the Mental Health Act 1983. As an expert in mental capacity, you will uphold human rights, enable positive risk-taking, and exercise complex decision-making, ensuring that your work is well-planned, critically evaluated, reviewed, and documented in a timely manner. You will use legislation to safeguard and uphold the rights of adults at risk of abuse, promoting their welfare and emotional well-being. As an investigating officer, you will conduct enquiries following the West Yorkshire Safeguarding procedures and the Care Act 2014 Section 42.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK licence
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
- Must have 2 and half years minimum experience as a Social Worker.
