We have an exciting opportunity for a HR Assistant to join our Pay and Policy Team in HR at the Bolton office for a fixed term of 23 months.
The successful candidate will assist with the creation and maintenance of several key employee documents including contracts of employment, Job Descriptions and The Employee Handbook. Responsibility for the Right to Work process and assisting with tasks relating to the Pay and Benefits Working Group make for a varied role and will allow the successful candidate to be heavily involved in critical business processes.
Successful candidates will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders and will therefore need to possess excellent communication, time management and organisational skills along with a strong attention to detail. The successful applicant will be privy to sensitive and confidential information and will therefore need to demonstrate a high degree of honesty and integrity.

Your New Role:
- Maintaining and updating a variety of employee documents including contracts of employment and The Employee Handbook
- Creating ad hoc contracts of employment
- Assisting business Leaders with queries relating to HR policies or employee documentation
- Completing tasks related to Right to Work, including coordinating, and running quarterly meetings with Rightcheck (external suppliers) and Freeths (Solicitors)
- Completing tasks related to the annual pay review, including preparing for working group meetings, completing market analysis and fact-checking pay review proposals
- Ad hoc project work

What You'll Get In Return:
- Starting salary from £33,390 rising to £41,460
- Monday- Friday, 8am to 4:30pm with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote working.
