Location: Blandford Forum, Dorset

Salary: Starting at £31,000 per annum. Rising to £34,000 per annum on completion of a successful probationary period.

Role Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 48 Hours as per EU WTD rules

Position:

Role Accountability:

The driver will be collecting hazardous & non-hazardous waste in a Class 2 curtain-sided vehicle
Daily duties will involve some heavy lifting, including lifting of (up to) 25kg drums
Keeping their vehicle in a safe condition, clean & tidy
HGV Class 2 Driver (Class 1 would be advantageous)
ADR Licence is an advantage but not essential as training can be given
CPC qualification
Previous relevant driving experience and possession of a digi-card
Must be willing to spend nights out away (paid additionally)
Advising & communicating with customers
Averaging 48 hours a week
A good level of written and mathematical skills, as there will be paperwork involved
A flexible approach to the role
Physically fit

Requirements:

The Candidate:

Enthusiastic and committed to delivering quality customer service.
HGV class 2 licence.
Digi-card and current CPC qualification.
Experience in the waste management industry desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
ADR Licence is an advantage but not essential as training can be given.
CPC qualification
Previous relevant driving experience and possession of a digi-card
Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
Good communication skills
A flexible approach to the role
