Here at Elmbridge Retirement Village, we are pleased to be on the lookout for an Administrator/Receptionist to join our team based in Cranleigh, Surrey. This is a part time role (25 hours per week) ideally working 9am - 2pm, although we can offer some flexibility.
You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for residents, their families and visitors. Your primary responsibilities include covering the front desk, providing excellent customer service, managing phone calls and inquiries, assisting residents with their needs, and supporting administrative tasks within the retirement village.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management:
- Greet and welcome residents, families and visitors with a warm and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls, transfer calls and take messages as needed
Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing residents inquiries, concerns and requests courteously and promptly
- Offer assistance and guidance to residents and visitors as needed
- Liaise with prospective purchasers/tenants, sales team and agents
Administrative tasks and reports:
- Assist with administrative tasks, including central diary management, filing photocopying and maintaining resident and property records
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages and deliveries
- Maintain and update resident contact information
- Processing invoices
Safety and Security:
- Monitor the entry and exit of visitors, contractors and service personnel
- Enforce security protocols and ensure the safety of residents

- Previous reception/office experience
- Proactive, resourceful, self motivated, desire to improve things
