An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vending Installation Driver to join our wonderful Vending Installation Team

Role: Vending Installation Driver

Location: Chester, UK

Wage: 13.80ph

Job Type: Temporary- 6 months - 40hrs 5/7days

Job Description

The job holder must be an excellent communicator, have good organisational skills, the ability to prioritise, be fully flexible in their approach to work and working hours with excellent Leadership Skills

Must also hold a full driving licence for a minimum of 12 months.

Must Hold a 7.5T or above licence & CPC qualification.

Must be physically fit.

This role will require late nights and early starts and also overnight stays as well as weekend work

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the driving team, resolving issues as they arise and where necessary escalate to Transport & Logistics Manager
- Supporting and Liaising with the Transport & Logistics Manager.
- Ensuring and keeping up to date with vehicle checks and daily checks when in use and all issues reported to Transport & Logistics Manager as and when they arise.
- Ensuring all equipment required for daily tasks are updated and on vans and meet Health and Safety standards.
- Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met and report to Transport & Logistics Manager
- Ensure to follow the correct loading procedure
- Ensure driving laws are up to date and adhered to.
- Ensure drivers hours & working time directive are followed.
- Ensuring Risk assessments are carried out for any Ad Hoc jobs by all driving team and forwarded to Transport & Logistics Administrator.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required which may involve warehouse duties and working within the Factory.
- You will be expected to keep up to date with all the latest Health and Safety standards and driving law information.

Skills Required

Experience as a Vending Installation Driver
Communication skill is essential as this job involves a lot of interaction with colleagues across the business in a variety of methods including over the phone and email
Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to problem solve and make suggestions for improvement
Above all, a team player who has energy and enthusiasm to get the job done
