We are recruiting for a Responsible Individual for a 4 bed Children's home in Bolton, specialising in supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (16 hours per week)

**£74,000 Per annum** (16 hours per week)

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly experienced Responsible Individual with significant experience to lead with dedication, expertise, and a commitment to excellence.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our children's home not only meets but consistently exceeds regulatory standards and delivers care of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold and exceed the standards of care required by regulatory bodies
- Ensure legal compliance of the homes procedure’s remain up to date on any changes
- Lead the care home to deliver exceptional results, ensuring children’s safety, wellbeing, and welfare are at the heart of all operations.
- Work closely with the Registered Manager to develop and sustain a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure any investigations in relation to safe guarding are carried out fairly, promptly and effectively to ensure the safety of the children
- External monitoring of the home through regulation 44 and 45 reports
- Regularly audit and review practices, policies, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and compliance being met
- Provide strong and inspirational leadership to the care team, fostering a positive and professional working environment.
- Monitor and manage resources effectively while prioritising quality of care.
- Act as a key point of contact for staff building relationships based on trust and transparency.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience as an Responsible Individual working within Children's Residential Homes and experience in a senior or managerial role within the care sector.
- A proven record of delivering outstanding outcomes within Children's Residential Care
- Comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations, standards and the legal framework governing children's care homes.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Child Care or equivalent qualification.
- Strong leadership, communication, organisational and operational skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
