Could You Inspire Young People with Learning Disabilities?
No prior experience is neededwe provide all the training you need! All you require is a UK manual driving license and a GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
Role Details: This is a term-time position covering 39 weeks a year, working with students from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. While most of your work will be during term time, you’ll also commit to up to three weeks of training and development during academic holidays.

Job Security and Career Development: The Relief (Bank) position supports our permanent staff by filling shifts during annual leave, training, and other absences. While hours may be non-specific, your manager will work to balance the needs of the service with your work-life balance.

Role of Education Mentors: As an Education Mentor, you’ll work at our base in Abingdon College and in the community, providing tuition on vital life skills such as using public transport, managing money, and accessing local resources like libraries and sports centres.
We support students with special educational needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and communication difficulties, aged 16-25. Our focus is on fostering a nurturing environment that utilizes their interests and passions to enhance learning.
Our team consists of confident and skilled individuals who build positive relationships, break down barriers, and help students develop self-esteem. Thanks to their dedication, our students achieve outstanding results and reach their goals.
