Communications and Engagement Consultant
Salary – Circa £37,500
Aviva currently have an excellent opportunity available for a Communications and Engagement Consultant to join their Sales & Distribution team, acting as financial educators for our customers and clients.
The Workplace Savings & Retirement channel is aligned to the largest group Pension schemes managed by Aviva based on assets under management, revenue stream, development potential and strategic value to the business. Our team deliver communication & education services to employees of our key corporate clients in-order to win, maximise, grow and retain business.
Due to the nature of this role, UK wide travel will be required and a company car will be provided.
A bit about the job:
The foundation of this role is to deliver communication strategies for key corporate clients, both new and existing, as well as to support the Communications and Engagement Managers in all strategy communications delivery and execution.
You will also have the opportunity to support the building of communication strategies for smaller clients including the delivery of presentations (both face to face and via webinar), production of a recorded webcasts and promotional collateral such as emails, posters and flyers.
The successful individual will be accountable and responsible for ensuring all the above items are compliant and must act in accordance with the companies Best Practice Scheme for those clients that they are working with. This will include ensuring the evaluation of communication strategies are undertaken following their conclusion to assess their effectiveness and inform future work.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Skill and confidence to deliver presentations to large audiences both online and face to face.
Educated to GCSE/O Level. Financial services qualifications desirable but not essential. Successful candidate will be expected to undertake pension related qualifications (cost covered by Aviva) if not already held.
Experience of working to challenging deadlines and working independently.
Good knowledge of workplace savings market is desirable.
Willingness to travel throughout the UK.
