The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented professional to join our team and play a key role in delivering/supporting the delivery of education as a learning coach across our settings.
Secure and Specialist is a part of the Participation & Lifelong Learning service, within Hampshire County Council’s Children’s Services Directorate, with the responsibility for delivering education to some of the most vulnerable learners in the county.
We are looking for a committed member of staff with the ability to work flexibly across a number of our settings including the Tatchbury Mount Hospital sites and Hockley House, a new, three bed children’s home which is coming on stream in early 2025.
The role of learning coach offers the opportunity to support the delivery of education through the design, delivery and follow up of education sessions tailored to the needs of the learners. You will be working with children with complex needs who have often had a negative experience of education previously so creativity, resilience and a positive attitude are a must!
