Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery of packages and documents to various locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Courier Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive their items promptly and in good condition.
Duties
- Safely drive a van or similar vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations. Company Vehicle Supplied after Training Period
- Load and unload items, ensuring that all deliveries are handled with care.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of delivery and any relevant notes regarding the condition of items delivered.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting and organising packages for delivery.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Full training given
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading of packages.
- Strong organisational skills with an attention to detail when handling deliveries.
- A valid driving licence is required; additional qualifications related to commercial driving are a plus.
- Permanent Rounds available in the local area immediate start due to expansion

Immediate start available 6 days a week and there is also work available for weekends only especially Sunday only as well
Sunday work is paid on the day
we don’t expect this job to be open long due to the availability of the permanent rounds available, we are seeking reliability with a keen interest in delivery to customers premises
