Delivery Driver - Immediate Start
Blakeley Profiles are looking for an enthusiastic delivery driver to join our growing team.
The applicant will need to be a team player, highly motivated, a quick thinker with a clear head and excellent attention to detail with a clean UK driving licence.
The position will also include an element of warehouse work outlined below.
Work Activities:
- Delivering roofline and rainwater goods on 3.5 ton dropside vans
- Plan routes
- Liaise with staff and customers regarding delivery dates and times
- Picking and packing orders, loading goods for dispatch
- Booking goods in and out on the company SOP system, printing dispatch notes
- Keeping vehicles roadworthy and clean
Working Hours and Conditions:
The applicant will be required to work Monday to Friday from 7:00am-5:00pm with an hour’s lunch break mid-day.
Holiday of 20 days plus 8 bank holidays are given.
Requirements:
A clean driving licence is imperative, and the applicant will need to speak fluent English, and have basic English, maths and IT skills. A positive mental attitude is required as the candidate will be the face of the company. Personal hygiene and a clean & tidy appearance are essential.
A forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential.
