Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to manage time efficiently and communicate effectively with both customers and warehouse staff.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring that all deliveries are handled with care and in accordance with safety regulations.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
Communicate clearly with colleagues regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies in orders.
Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, which may include heavy lifting and organising stock.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
A valid driving licence is essential for this position.
Familiarity with warehouse operations will be advantageous.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
A good understanding of road safety regulations and navigation skills is important for efficient route planning.
